Overview of transfers in EnrolNow

EnrolNow supports the storage of transfer requests, allocations of these (including offers of transfers) and finalising the transfer to the new service or program. Transfer requests should be used for a child who is already allocated to a service or a program. The transfer request represents a request to be considered for a move from the currently allocated service / program to a new service or program. Transfer requests can be relevant to either This Year or Next Year.

It is important to note that while an transfer request is Active, Pending or Accepted the child's existing status and allocation will not be affected. The status and allocation of a child will only be updated on the nominated transfer date.

Transfer Requests: To support transfers in EnrolNow a Transfer Request must first be submitted. To learn more about Transfer Requests refer here.

Allocating Transfers: The Allocation Engine should be used to allocate transfers. When allocating transfers, the Transfer Date will default to the next Sunday. This date represents the date that the transfer will take effect for any accepted transfers. The date can be updated before committing the allocation. To learn more about the allocation engine please refer here

Offering / Accepting a Transfer Request: By default, only transfers that have been accepted will be actioned on the transfer date. To learn more about making a transfer offer to a family or accepting a transfer request on a families behalf please refer here

Finalising the Transfer: On the transfer date, any Transfer Accepted child will be automatically update to be allocated to the transfer service / program. The status of the child will remain as Offer Accepted or Enrolled in the new service if the child was previously in one of these statuses. Any downstream services or Service users will see the updated allocation on this transfer date.
