Downstream Data Flow: Allocation to program, shared at allocation

OVERVIEW
The Downstream Sync is an API-based integration that enables automatic data sharing between a Council’s Central Registration and Enrolment Scheme (CRES) EnrolNow system and a kindergarten's separate EnrolNow system.

The Downstream API is only possible where both the CRES and the Kindergarten use EnrolNow, this downstream sync facilitates efficient and timely transfer of allocated children’s records. This connection ensures child, parent and program data is "pushed" from the Council’s system (the Upstream system) to your service’s independent EnrolNow system (the Downstream system), removing the need for manual handover of allocation information.

DOWNSTREAN SCENARIO

Council / CRES Allocates to: Program

Child Shared Downstream at what stage: Allocation

This is a data flow to illustrate the downstream API summarised as 'Allocation to program, shared at allocation'. The Council / CRES allocates children to both service and program & the Council / CRES first share the child details with the downstream services from the point that the child is allocated to the service & program.

Please Note: It is very IMPORTANT that services do not communicate (email or conversation) with families about their registration or allocation until the family has accepted the offer with Council (when the child record has a status of Offer Accepted). All status' prior to Offer Accepted are provided by Council / CRES in good faith for insight prior to offers being made.
