Email authentication is a standard technique that you can use to improve the deliverability of emails sent from Zoho CRM. To achieve this you need to validate the following authentication standards:
Domain Verification,
DKIM (Domain Keys Identified Mail),
SPF (Sender Policy Framework),
DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance),
EnrolNow can support the email authentication process through the following steps:
- Add and Verify Domain: please advise EnrolNow what email address you would like used to add the domain. A verification code will be emailed to this email address. Once received please email this to support@enrolnow.com.au,
- Validate the email source: You might need your IT Admins help with this step as you will need to add some code to the DNS settings of your website. Please see below for details:
- SPF and DKIM validation codes: EnrolNow will provide to you the specific SPF and DKIM validation codes that need to be added to the DNS settings of your website. These are required for email authentication.
- A DMARC record should also be added to the DNS settings of your website. This is compulsory for those who may send thousands of emails per day and recommended for those who do not. An example of the code is as follows:
- v=DMARC1; p=none;
- Once completed please advise support@enrolnow.com.au and we will finalise the email validation setup.
If you need further help regarding how exactly to add the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records to your DNS settings, we recommend reaching out to your domain service provider or searching the help articles of your domain service provider's website (they should have a how-to guide there specific to their system).
Please note, an alternative mechanism for achieving improved deliverability is Email Relay. Please refer here for further details.
