Managing the spam related deliverability of emails is a tricky art as it is controlled by the email recipients email platform and the rules/strategies that they use are ever changing.
A couple of things that can help include:
- Ensure you have validated your domain (Email Authentication)
- Subject lines and email content: where possible use mail merge information in the emails (such as the child's name, parents name and group allocation). This creates differentiation between bulk emails sent and is therefore less likely to be seen as Spam.
- Request families to mark your emails as "not spam" or move them to their main inbox so that future sends are not impacted. Refer here for a solution article which provides recommendations for actions that can be taken by families to achieve this.
