Purpose
The Service Operational Hours file shares information about the days and times your preschool operates.
How is this file created?
This file is automatically generated from the Organisation module in EnrolNow and uses data from the NSW – Operational Hours subform.
It includes:
- Your Service Approval Number
- The days of the week your service operates
- The start and end times for each operating day
This file is prepared and shared each week as part of the standard Digital Hub upload.
What do you need to do to ensure this is accurate?
- Keep the NSW – Operational Hours subform in the Organisation module updated to reflect the days, start time and end time of your operation.
- Ensure that the SISO app is used every day the service is open to keep the Open Status Indicator accurate.

Key Definitions
- Close Time / End Time of Operation: These fields represent when your preschool program begins and ends each day. This should include hours where your preschool delivers a set daily-fee program — even if that fee is fully subsidised. When we create the file, we reference the Date of Operation against the day of the week in the Organisation module to find the start and end times. ⚠️ If these fields are left blank in EnrolNow, a value of
00:00
will be sent to the Digital Hub. - Open Status Indicator: Shows whether the preschool was open on a particular day. If at least one child has a recorded sign-in for that date (i.e. a SISO status of "Attended"), this will show Yes. If no children attended on that date, it will show No.
