Early Start Kindergarten

To support operators management of Early Start Kindergarten children and the reporting associated with these children, EnrolNow configure and calculate fields on a child record. The following fields are utilised: 

• TY / NY - ESK / ESE Eligible: two seperate checkbox fields (one for this year and the other for next year) are auto calculated to check whether a child is eligible for ESK or ESE. This check is based on the status of the child for the given care period (not blank or care no longer required) and then a check of the child's attributes, including
  • Child is Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander OR
  • Child is known to child protection OR
  • Child holds a applicable concession - any visa or immi card OR
  • Child is in out of home care (living arrangement)
• TY / NY - ESK / ESE Approved: two seperate pick list fields. Here the user of EnrolNow can update a child to reflect if they are approved for ESK or ESE or No (for not approved). To review a list of eligible children please review the "Review ESK Eligible" custom view on the Children tab

Notes: 

• Care Period cutover process will apply for these ESK fields. For example, a child who is updated to be approved for ESK for next year will be auto updated when the new year rolls through to ensure that this approval is related to the current year (and that the next year ESK approval is blank)
