We're excited to introduce a new enhancement that gives you more control over how attachment files are managed within child records.
Why this matters
Attachment files are hosted in a widget which you access via the child record. Previously there was no way to restrict certain user roles such as service users, from actions like deleting attachment files against a child's record.
This means no flexibility in managing who can access or modify sensitive documents.
What's changed?
We have developed an update that allows attachment permissions to be controlled at a profile level.
Our team can now configure permissions to determine which users can:
- View attachments
- Upload new attachments
- Delete existing attachments
This ensures access aligns with roles and responsibilities across your organisations, while protecting sensitive information.
How to request changes
These permissions can only be managed by our team.
If you would like to update who can view, upload or delete attachments, please reach our to our support team and we will configure this for you!
