Creating a Custom View

Custom Views are a useful way to see a specific list of records — such as children, parents/guardians or programs — and to save that view for future use.

Custom Views can also be used for bulk actions, such as emailing a specific group.

Custom Views can be created on any tab (module) in EnrolNow One. The steps below use the Children tab as an example, but the same process applies to any tab.

To create a new Custom View

1. Go to the tab you want the view based on (for example, Children, Parents/Guardians or Programs)
2. Click the arrow next to the pre-saved Custom Views and select "New Custom View" from the bottom of the list
   
3. Update the key information for the new Custom View, noting the following:
   • Update the name of the view at the top of the screen
   • When specifying criteria, using the option "contains" allows greater flexibility in your filters
   • Multiple criteria can be added as either "and" or "or" criteria — switch between them by clicking the word and / or
   • Add extra columns to the standard view by selecting them from all available columns
   • 
4. Click Save

To clone an existing Custom View

If you already have a view that is close to what you need, it is often quicker to clone it and adjust it, rather than build a new one from scratch.

1. Go to the relevant tab and open an existing view in edit mode
2. Click the three dots and select Clone 

   

3. Update the name of the view
4. Adjust the filter criteria as needed
5. Choose the columns to be included in the default view
6. Click Save

Cloning leaves the original view unchanged and creates a separate copy.
