Parents and Authorised Nominees are able to register themselves on the SISO App when they first start using it by clicking Register as Parent/Carer on the home screen. This process results in the Parent/Carer receiving an SMS validation code to their registered mobile number.
There may be times that a Parent/Carer is unable to complete this process themselves, for example:
- the primary phone number for the parent/carer is a landline, or
- the parent/carer does not have their mobile phone with them to receive the validation texts
In these cases you can support the parent / carer to register using the following steps:
- From the Home screen click on Staff box in top right hand corner of blue menu bar - you are now in the staff home screen
- Click on the third tile label Assist Parent / Authorised Person to register
- Follow the prompts to enter your mobile number and PIN number. Note, this step is validating that you are an authorised user of the system and should therefore be Kindergarten staff members phone number and PIN
- Enter the Parent / Authorised Nominees phone number. Note, this phone number must be registered in EnrolNow One. To understand more about adding authorised nominees, updating authorised nominee contact details, or updating parents contact details please click on the relevant link.
- Select the Parent / Authorised Nominee from the list
- At this time you can hand the tablet to the Parent / Authorised Nominee so they can enter their own private PIN number for all future sign in and sign outs.
