The Reports Module in EnrolNow One is setup with folders that contain standard reports that we understand all kindergartens will benefit from.
There are times when these reports are more practical with modified fields or one report representing each class. We generally suggest duplicating an existing report rather than creating one from scratch. Please refer here for details on how to duplicate a report.
If however, you need to create a report from scratch, here are some tips.
- On the Reports Module, click "Create Report"
- Module: Generally, from the module selection dropdown select EnrolNow One customers will want to select Children
- Associated Modules: there is generally no need to select an associated module, simply select "continue" to proceed to report setup
- Columns: Use the columns tab to select the data you would like to be included in the report.
- Columns: Here you can select the data that you would like to be shown in each column of the report for each child record. Drag and drop using the following button to change the order of columns:
- Row Groups: Use these to group together information vertically. eg. Grouping by Current Program Allocated will ensure that all children in a given group are shown before moving to children from the next group. Common groupings are Status, Allocation, Program Allocation, Service Allocation or Program Type.
- Column Groups: as per row groups but vertical groupings (these are less commonly used)
- Aggregate Columns: value based fields can be used (eg. date / time) to aggregate data
- Filters: Use filters to ensure that only the select set of children required are shown on a report. For example, you may wish to filter to all children where the "child status - current period" is enrolled or "upcoming allocation" contains Blue
- Save the report with a unique name in your chosen folder by clicking the edit pencil that appears when hovering your mouse next to the title. Select Save.
