To switch a child from one program to another they will need to hold a preference for the program that you are moving them to.
1. View the child's 'Program Preferences" by clicking on the quick link on the left hand side of a child view. Note, preferences and allocations are unique to each care period. Be sure to look for the preferences related to the care period you are making changes for.
2. If the child does not hold preferences for the program you are wishing to allocate them to you will need to update the program preferences by using the "TY - SUBMIT PROGRAM PREFERENCE" OR "NY - SUBMIT PROGRAM PREFERENCE " quick action buttons on the child record. For more details please on updating program preferences refer here.
3. If the child holds a preference for the program you are wishing to allocate them to you can proceed to allocating the child using the allocation engine.
