If you need to update the concession details of a child, there is a standard email template available for sending to families requesting this updated information.
- Search for and select the relevant child record
- Click "Send email"
- Click "Insert Template"
- Select the "Concession Card Update" template
- Click Send
The family will receive an email requesting that they provide updated concession card details (such as the updated expiry date) via a form. When this form is submitted the child record will be updated accordingly.
Alternatively, if you wish to update the concession details on the families behalf, you can do so by updating the data in the Funding Section of a child record. It is important to note that the Applicable Concessions field is required for KIM reporting (noting the name of the concession held) and for Health Care or Pensioner Concession card holders the expiry date of these cards will also need to be updated. The "Fee Subsidy Applies" field will be updated automatically to reflect if a child is eligible for KFS funding based on the current criteria for this funding.
