Removing a waitlisted, allocated or enrolled child (this year or next year)

Use these steps to change a child's status to Care No Longer Required.

This process can be used for any child regardless of whether they are waitlisted, allocated or enrolled.

1. From the top right on a child record, access the quick function drop down buttons and select either "TY - REMOVE FROM THIS YEAR" or "NY - REMOVE FROM NEXT YEAR" (note, you may need to scroll down through quick function buttons).

Note: In some systems the button names may be "This Year - Care not required" or "Next Year - Care not required"

2. A pop-up window will display requesting a reason for the care being cancelled. Enter a reason and click decline care (please note, if this confirmation window does not display, you may need to update pop-up settings on your web browser)

3. When you return to the child record you will see the child's status updated to "Care no longer required"

Note, whilst this child will be retained in the EnrolNow One system with enrolment details for reference, they will no longer appear on rolls or reports for the upcoming period as a waitlisted, allocated or attending child. If the child holds an allocation or preference for a different care period they will continue to do so (eg. enrolled this year, however no longer require care next year)
